Symptoms



VMware SRM 8.1 not showing as supported on VMware or Dell EMC support Matrix documents.

Cause

SRM 8.1 was not been fully qualified With RecoverPoint prior to 5.1 SP2 Patch 1.

Resolution

Resolution:
As of October 2018. SRM 8.1 is qualified with RecoverPoint 5.1.2.1 - 5.1 SP2 Patch 1.
All previous versions of RecoverPoint (5.1.2 and older) do not support SRM 8.1
