Cause

The Management host details are not accurate in the Data Domain resource.  The Management host details have not been configured or the Management user password has changed.

Resolution

Update the Management host details:
  1. Log in to the NMC GUI as a administrator of the NetWorker server.
  2. Click the Enterprise button on the taskbar.
  3. Highlight a host in the navigation tree, right-click NetWorker and select Launch Application. The NetWorker Administration window appears.
  4. Click the Devices button on the taskbar.
  5. In the expanded left navigation pane, select Data Domain Systems.
  6. In the right details pane, right click the Data Domain system and select properties.
  7. In the NSR Data Domain Properties window access section, enter the Management host, Management user, and Management password.  The Management user should be have DD admin privileges.
  8. It is recommended to leave this field empty, but if required, in the NSR Data Domain Properties window configuration section update the export path.
  9. Select OK to save the changes.
