Symptoms

User has created LUNs from a storage pool equaling the maximum capacity of a storage pool.

SNMP Trap sent:

SP Logs:

B       05/17/16 08:23:22 MLU              712dc500 The Storage <Pool Name> has only 0 percent free space left.



Cause

The Storage pool indicated by the error is full.

Resolution

Using Unisphere:
1) Log in as sysadmin (or as a user with Storage administrative privileges).
2) Navigate to the Storage > Storage Pools list page.
3) Go to the properties page of the pool identified in the log message or alert.
4) Look for the Physical Storage Usage of this pool.
5) Expand the pool if there are existing storage resources available that can be used. If no storage is available to expand the pool then you will need to add the appropriate type of physical disks to the system so that it can be expanded.

Steps to Expand Pool
1) Right Click on the pool identified in the log message or alert.
2) Select the Expand Option.
3) Follow Wizard to select storage resources to allocate to the pool.
