Cause

Default configuration setting does not allow for scaling. High DPI scaling override is disabled.

Resolution

Avamar admin UI does not scale, and the text is difficult to read.

1. Find javaw.exe
 C:\Program Files(x86)\avs\administrator\<avamar version>\lib\Jre\bin\

PC bin directory with java executable

2. Right click -> Properties.
3. Go to Compatibility tab.
4. Check override high DPI scaling behavior.
5. Choose System for scaling performed by: System
High DPI scaling override
 
6. Restart the Java Admin UI.
7. If the above does not work and you are using Remote Desktop, adjust the screen size in RDP under More Options.
