RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines: One vRPA can't see repository or journals

SAN_Diag output shows no journals or repo, but does show VM disks

Root Cause:
There is a line missing or commented out in the vRPA .vmx file
scsi0:1.filters = "esx_splitter"

for example:
scsi0:1.deviceType = "scsi-hardDisk"
scsi0:1.fileName = "RPDevice.vmdk"
scsi0:1.mode = "independent-persistent"
scsi0:1.present = "true"
scsi0:1.redo = ""
#scsi0:1.filters = "esx_splitter"
esx_splitter.scsi0:1.options = "ClusterID=66a20ad38b90xxxx"

If this line is missing or commented out, the RPA cannot see the repository or journal volumes. 

Workaround:
1. Power off the vRPA with the issue
2. SSH into the ESX host holding the vRPA
3. Edit the .vmx file to include the missing line 
4. Power on the vRPA
